Joseph Johnson 'Brother Joe' serves as the pastor of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, a welcoming Methodist congregation devoted to loving God, growing in grace, and serving others with joy. With over 25 years of ministry experience, Brother Joe brings a compassionate heart, a deep love for people, and a clear vision for Christ-centered community.

Brother Joe believes that love is the most effective way to communicate God’s grace—and that grace has the power to heal hearts, restore relationships, and transform lives. Whether standing behind the pulpit or sitting across a table, he seeks to reflect the love of Jesus in every interaction.

Brother Joe is joyfully married to his beautiful wife, Brittany, and together they have three wonderful children: Caden, Anders and Evie. Their lives are like many, busy with keeping up with the kids' social and sports calendars as well as finding time to be together as a family.

At Bethlehem UMC, Brother Joe leads with the belief that the local church is not just a building—it’s a people called to embody the love of Christ in a broken world. His heart beats for discipleship, outreach, and creating a church where everyone feels seen, valued, and welcomed.
