Mission: As Christ followers, we are called to love, serve, and lead.

Inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35, 40 —

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in… whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

At Bethlehem UMC, we are deeply committed to putting our faith into action through a wide range of ministries that nurture our community, extend compassion to our neighbors, and provide opportunities for all to live into their calling to serve.

Carver Class of Music

Bethlehem houses Carver Class of Music, a private music academy. Established in 2009, Carver Class of Music is among Wilson County’s most esteemed schools of fine arts for all ages, children through adult. CCM offers beginner to advanced instruction for the piano, guitar and bass guitar. Bethlehem United Methodist Church offers contemporary
music studios, comfortable waiting areas and a quaint auditorium for the annual recital.

CCM is home to four instructors among the best in the area, each highly credentialed in their respective fields. Lessons are held each weekday, on a semester schedule in alignment with the Lebanon Special School District school schedule.

Please call for more information and scheduling!

Bethlehem United Methodist Church's Kids Ministry

Kids Blowing Bubbles

We are dedicated to nurturing and teaching children in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Through Bible-based lessons, interactive activities, and a focus on building Christian values, the ministry helps children grow in their faith while fostering a sense of community and belonging. Whether through Sunday school, special events, or mission projects, Bethlehem's Kids Ministry aims to inspire young hearts to follow Jesus and share His love with others.

Compassionate Hands

This Christ-centered ministry in Wilson County supports our unhoused neighbors with shelter, meals, and a next-step plan. Our Nurture & Outreach Team prepares meals, distributes care packages, and provides fast food gift cards for warmth and nourishment in the winter.

Cooking & Savings Class

Healthy Vegetarian Burger

Also through LSSD, families are learning to plan healthy meals and manage their budgets. We’ve supported this initiative with meals and special evenings of fun, food, and prizes—helping build stronger homes and communities.

LimeLight Van – Partnering with Lebanon Special School District

We support children in the Lebanon City Schools through a unique incentive-based program that rewards positive behavior, academic improvement, and school attendance. Bethlehem UMC helps stock the van with toys and gift cards. Our church children help by preparing and loading the van, teaching them the value of giving and compassion.

The Giving Tree – Christmas Gifts for Families

Giving-tree_recipe-card-1.gif

Each December, we offer a special way to remember those in need through our second sanctuary tree. Tags list essential items—clothing, food, and basic necessities. Church members can select a tag and bless a family in need during the holidays. It’s a tangible way to live Jesus’ call to care for “the least of these.”
